Life doesn’t come without its fair share of adversity–even for a Christian– but when you partner with the power of the Holy Spirit, you don’t have to fight for victory, you can fight from a place of victory! Did you know, you already have everything you need in your spiritual artillery to fight the good fight of faith? You just have to know how to use it!
Obtaining is a verb. At the beginning of 2023, you set out to obtain victory–victory in your finances, your family, your marriage–whatever area you are seeking to obtain victory in, remember what you have already attained through the Holy Spirit! Nothing—yes nothing— stands against the will of a woman and surely not a woman of God! When you’re believing God for victory, your “want to” has to override any other desire in your life.
The fight of faith is not for the weak of heart, and victory doesn’t come casually. If you are truly serious about obtaining your victory, there are certain areas you can implement in your life today.
1. To obtain victory, implement persistence.
If you’re going to do anything for God, persistence will have to come into play. You need persistence, and that’s just the way it works.
Whenever you’re trying to stand in faith, don’t even entertain your options for exit. The enemy will provide you with so many options to opt out of your victory. Be persistent in predetermining in your mind that you are not going to quit, even when it hurts and even when it gets hard!
The enemy wants to wear you out but remember, adversity doesn’t always mean defeat. Be persistent and keep going!
2. To obtain victory, grow in your faith.
You should be maturing and growing in your faith every day. Get into God’s word and find specific scriptures to stand on. When all things are dark around you, His word will be there to redirect your focus in the middle of adversity.
Be reminded that you have a responsibility to play through faith, not through your own human effort alone.

The version of you that is going to obtain your victory is not the current version of who you are right now. Exercise and grow your faith through adversities and trials. Don’t lose sight that the small victories bring you closer to the ultimate victory! You can grow through what you go through along the way.
3. To obtain victory, be willing to let go of some things in order to keep moving forward
Victory might be on the other side of letting go of some things. Maybe that’s a relationship or an area of your life that you need to surrender control.
You might be tired, but you can continually tap into His supernatural strength. Let go, shift gears, and power through one step closer to your victory.
Ladies, it’s not a matter of if He wants to do it, it’s a matter of if you’re willing to fight for it. There’s power in His promise, and there’s power in your want to! Victory is yours in 2023!
