As with everything in our lives, the choices we make are to be in line with God’s will– this includes a very foundational part of our society— schooling!

Today, more than ever, there seems to have been a redefining period in education, many parents are also exploring alternative school choices for elementary, middle, and high school years. Pastor Julia Thomas joins us on the podcast to share her wisdom and experiences with homeschooling co-ops, as well as to provide advice on how to make school choices that work best for each unique family.

With every family’s school situation looking different, it’s best to try to avoid taking a cookie-cutter approach to school choice. Whether your children attend public school or private school, or you have chosen to homeschool, the most important aspect is that your decisions are based on obedience to what God calls you to. When you’re obedient to that which God has called you, God will use it for His good.

Whichever choice you make for your family, go at it with a mission-field mentality, equip your kids with a strong faith, and solid foundation built on God’s Word. Remember, if you have peace that God has called you to a particular form of schooling, you can rest and trust that there’s a grace on your assignment!
