The Power Of One More - Overcoming Discouragement

If you’re in a season of discouragement, let me remind you of the power of one more! One more time, keep going, keep pushing on–friend, get out of your feelings, get out of your emotions, get out of your own head, and give it one more try!

Maybe you’re feeling as though you’re not seen or you’re not taking any ground.  You’re doing it all–devoting time to all of the spiritual disciplines you know to do, but yet, you still do not feel like what you’re experiencing in the natural is aligning with what you’re sowing. Keep going! Be encouraged that not one seed of righteousness or one moment of righteous living will pass without you not seeing a full harvest return.

When you’re asking yourself, “Is this worth it?” Rest assured God is hearing you, He sees your efforts, and your seed sown in faith is honoring and pleasing to Him. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Girl, He’s got you, and He will never leave you short. Be in a place of obedience, positioning your heart unto Him. He has good in store for you. 

When God gives you a plan, the enemy will try to rob you of the courage or spiritual strength required to see it come to pass. Fight discouragement with what He says in His word! Galatians 6: 9 states, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” There are going to be moments when you feel like you cannot do it anymore. You may have reached that point now. Just remember, the only way the enemy can take you out of the plan God has for your life is if he wears you out enough that you back off and quit. Don’t get overwhelmed by the big picture. Make a predetermined decision that regardless of whether you can see anything changing or not, you will keep going, and keep doing the things you know to do every day, 

Discouragement is often a good indicator that your breakthrough is closer than ever before. Many people want the harvest but do not want to do what can sometimes take years. Keep showing up and push yourself; you’ll grow up and mature into the things God has called you to do. God wants to add his super to the natural. Your breakthrough and multiplied harvest are on the other side the “one more.”
