SHOW NOTES:
Do you feel like all the cards have been stacked up against you? Perhaps you feel like you’ve been born into the wrong family or lack the education to accomplish what you’ve been called to do. Maybe you think you’re not set up to win–if so, this podcast is for you!
Even if you are the least likely today, there is good news in God’s Word! God likes to use the least likely. It doesn’t matter what your background is, the family you come from, or your position in the Christian community–God has a plan for you. All He needs is one person who is devoted to Him. One life completely given over to Him can change a trajectory and narrative–not only for the person living it–but for the generations to follow. Are you going to be the one?
When you are the one to initiate or alter the course of those who came before you, it is easy to get trapped in focusing on individuals who simply benefit from what others have sown. Maybe you haven’t been set up, but decide that you will be the one who sacrifices now for generations to enjoy the future.
As seen in the Bible when Samuel, the Lord's prophet, anointed David to be a future king of Israel, there is something special about the “one more.” David was willing to take the hand he was dealt and break the odds.
Yes, the world might have overlooked you before, but be the one to shake off all discouragement or self-doubt. What others have said about you in the past doesn’t matter; the anointing we all carry in Christ Jesus changes our path.
God sees your heart and desire to serve Him. You have potential and purpose. All He wants is for you is to take that step and say, “I will be the one!” So, go after it today in Jesus' name!
